Thanks for posting the RENSHADE. We have installed it on the windows (got better at it as we went!) and we are just completely thrilled with the difference it makes. It is a brilliant and economical solution/product - congratulations!

We may order some more soon for some of the less urgent windows. I am going to suggest to my sister (on a farm near Canberra) that they get some to solve a heat problem they have on their western side

Dear Tim,

We have completed installing Renshade on our bedroom windows. As mentioned previously we live on Lamb Island in Morton Bay. The house is constructed of relatively light materials and the bedroom wall faces east with a window receiving full sun for several hours during the morning. The result was an extremely uncomfortable room with a lot of heat coming off the glass. Far from ideal, especially as we both work shift work.

Previously we had installed a shade cloth blind, however this made minimal difference, if at all. I attached the Renshade foil, using the velcro supplied, to the exterior of the window whilst retaining the blind to give some added protection to the foil sheets. The results were quite amazing, with the glass remaining cool to touch and a resultant drop in the temperature of the room. Congratulations on a simple but very effective product.
